MEET MORGAN WADSWORTH

2026 Candidate for Nevada's 2nd Congressional District

Morgan Wadsworth, candidate for congress in Northern Nevada, sits at a table with voters and smiles. Several people are in the foreground listening to her speak, partially visible.

Morgan Wadsworth is a sixth-generation Nevadan, born and raised right here in Northern Nevada.

She grew up in a working-class family and has been working blue-collar jobs since she was fourteen. Everything from lifeguard and dishwasher to janitor, cocktail waitress, bartender, veterinary and medical assistant. Her family has been ranching in the state of Nevada for over a hundred years.
Like so many Nevadans, she learned early what hard work actually looks like.

Morgan is a first-generation college student and currently attends the University of Nevada, Reno, studying political science. She’s running for Congress to give Northern Nevada its voice, and its backbone back in Washington.

She’s taking her fight to Congress to confront corruption, stand up to entrenched power, and put decision-making back where it belongs: in the hands of Nevadans.

OUR PRIORITIES:

The Work That Matters

Northern Nevada doesn’t need another career politician focused on donors, party leadership, or Washington politics.

It needs representation rooted in this place, someone who understands what it takes to live, work, and raise a family in Nevada, today.

We need a representative who is willing to fight for Nevada’s future with clarity and resolve.

This campaign is focused on the work that actually matters to Nevadans, not lining someone’s pockets.

MAKE YOUR VOICE COUNT!

Nevada has closed primaries, which means you can only vote for candidates in the party you're registered with. To vote for Morgan
in the primary, you'll need to be registered as a Democrat.

Registered as non-partisan or with another party but still like Morgan’s platform? You can change your affiliation in person during Early Voting (May 23-June 5) and on Election Day, same-day at your polling place. You can re-register back to your prior affiliation after you vote!

Close to half of Nevada voters don’t want to identify with the two major parties. Nor does Morgan. If you want candidates for real change, the primary is where that fight is won. Register, show up, and help decide who gets to be on the ballot in November.
